Sun City Grand is Del Webb's flagship active adult retirement community in Surprise, AZ that's included in Phoenix Retirement Communities. Located 18 miles northwest of Phoenix in the City of Surprise, Arizona, this golf course community is for the active adult age 45 or better.

Sun City Grand homeowners association owns the four 18-hole championship golf courses. The Sun City Grand golf courses were designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash. As a resident of Sun City Grand, your current homeowners recreation card provides you the ability to enjoy the reduced golf green fees.

Desert Springs, Granite Falls North and Granite Falls South golf courses are challenging courses, each with exigent holes, verdant greens and fairways amist the spectacular views of the White Tank Mountain Range in the Phoenix West Valley. The newest golf course is the Cimarron Golf Course has the look and feel of a Hawaii golf course with its more than 500 palm trees. Annual golf memberships are available to residents and include six-day advance tee time reservations and Sun City Grand Golf Rates and Resident Green Fees.

Life in Sun City Grand hovers around one of two focal points, the two recreational facilities. Here you will see residents participating in the plethora of activities that the community imparts. The Village Center is surrounded by cascading water fountains, featuring the Adobe Spa & Fitness Center, Chaparral Center, Sonoran Plaza, Artisan Studios, Kiva Ballroom, Wall Street Reading Room, a library and multiple meeting rooms. Residents to the Arizona State University West Lifelong Learning Academy, meeting rooms, craft rooms, an extensive computer lab, and a coffee shop.

The Adobe Spa and Fitness Center includes a heated indoor 6-lane lap pool, an outdoor resort swimming pool and outdoor activity pool, indoor and outdoor spas, indoor walking rack, full locker room, fully equipped health and fitness area, a dance/exercise studio, plus tennis, pickle ball and bocce courts. The Cimarron Recreation Center features a fully equipped health and fitness area, a heated outdoor resort-style swimming pool, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, social hall and multi-purpose rooms, outdoor fireplace and patio and the Cimarron Day Spa.

Other amenities that can be found throughout the community include a woodworking shop, the Del E. Webb Memorial Ball Field, a fishing dock, a dog park, outdoor amphitheater and extensive walking trails. There are more than 50 active clubs participating in numerous activities such as art, billiards, chess, drama & comedy, gardening, golf, photography, travel, and many more.

LA SOLANA CONDOMINIUM AT SUN CITY GRAND

There are 252 condominiums located on the outskirts of Sun City Grand. There are seven La Solana buildings, each building with three floors accessed by two elevators on opposite sides of each building. La Solana homeowners have complete and total usage of all of the recreational facilities in Sun City Grand as well as exclusive use of the La Solana recreational facility.

There are Single Family Homes from 1000 to over 3000 square feet with varying floor plans and elevations. Many are built on golf course lots giving the owners open views of the course and fairways. There is a three-story condominium, La Solana, located just outside the boundaries of Sun City Grand that offers residents the use of all the Sun City Grand amenities.

Located adjacent to Sun City Grand is Sun Health Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital, a 203 bed facility. Sun Health Boswell Memorial, with 324 beds, is located in neighboring Sun City. In addition, there are a variety of medical clinics, private practices, and nursing and rehabilitation centers nearby.

Located in and around Sun City Grand are an abundant choice of banks, grocery stores, restaurants, an cultural attractions.
